Tweet all about it: Angry Birds World opens in Qatar
IS IT A BIRD? Is it a plane? No, wait. It is a bird, a flock of them, and they’re angry.
But don’t worry, they are here to provide plenty of fun at the new Angry Birds World theme park in Doha Festival City, Qatar.
The original Angry Birds game, released in 2009, gained a cult following which earned the franchise a film title and lots of fun merchandise.
Now being added to the feathery fun is the world’s first Angry Birds World entertainment park, featuring more than 20 unique rides and attractions.
The newly completed indoor arena is the first area to open to the public, with the outdoor space set to open at a later date.
Thrill-seekers can bounce all day long in the indoor area’s Trampoline Universe, a 1,300 square meter space filled with gravity-defying trampolines.
Angry Birds World also features an educational attraction called Big Tree. The interactive space gives park-goers the opportunity to learn about science, and indulge their creativity and musical abilities.
Speed demons will also be happy to know the world’s first multi-level racetrack is now open.
Youngsters can challenge their friends and family to an “angry” battle on the 261-meter-long karting track.
If you’re a true fan of Angry Birds, why not let them throw you the best birthday party imaginable?
Angry Birds World has two themed birthday celebration rooms called “Bird Day” and the “Celebration Lounge”.
There’s also plenty of delicious Angry Birds-themed food at South Beach Cafe and a chance to snap up a souvenir or two from stores around the park.
Ready for your dose of playfully “angry” fun? Angry Birds World is located at Al Shamal Road, Doha, Qatar.
