One of Asia’s biggest water parks is now in Philippines

Experiences

BIG KIDS, little kids, water enthusiasts and thrill seekers rejoice!

The Philippines has just opened one of Asia’s biggest water parks.

Located on the former airbase in Clark, Pampanga, the 10ha water park offers flumes, rapids, lazy rivers, a surf simulator and so many more fun rides.

The old airbase is being spectacularly transformed into a leisure hub, with the new Aqua Planet water park. While Clark never used to be easily accessible, investment and recreation hub plans are changing that.

New transport links such as highways are currently under construction from Manila to Clark, meaning having a day out at the water park will be easy and breezy.

The aqua park opened on Feb 24, but before opening to the public, the amusement park wanted to give something back to the community.

And so, 100 children from orphanages around Pampanga were offered a sneak peek at the park and test out all the rides.

Aqua Planet can provide fun for up to 3,500 guests per day and has a total of 25 state-of-the-art, brilliantly designed and engineered slides and water facilities to maximize fun.

These include the Spiral Slide with four different slides, the four-person Super Bowl, and the mega fast octopus racer.

For those who want to feel the adrenaline rush through their bodies head to the Aqua Loop.

First, it drops you 100m on a slide before sliding you into a 360-degree loop.

To get there via public transport, you can ride a bus going to Dau Mabalacat Bus Terminal.

Then ride a Dau-SM-Main Gate jeepney to Bayanihan Terminal and get on the Blue Jeep that brings you straight to Aqua Planet.

Another option is to ride a bus to Angeles/Marquee Bus Terminal.

Then get on a jeep to  Clark-Main Gate and hop on the Blue Jeep with an Aqua Planet logo.
